❄️ Winter Safety Reminders from Advanced Home Care❄️
As temperatures drop, let's stay safe this season! Key tips to remember:
🚗 On the Road: Clear ALL snow/ice from your vehicle before driving, allow extra travel time, and keep emergency supplies in your car.
👣 Prevent Falls: Wear slip-resistant footwear and consider ice traction aids. Walk like a penguin. Shift your weight forward over your front foot on icy surfaces!
🏠 At Home/Work: Keep entryways clear of snow and water, use ice melt near doors, and inspect walkways for icy spots.
❄️ Shoveling Smart: Pace yourself, push snow instead of lifting, when possible, bend with your legs not your back, and take breaks.
🧥 Stay Warm: Dress in layers, cover extremities, and watch for signs of hypothermia (shivering, confusion) and frostbite (numbness, pale skin).

🎉 What an inspiring day at the Home Care Aide Council's Annual Home Care Aide Celebration!
Our team - CEO Art Kalenjian, Arthur Kalenjian, Gabby Farrenkopf, and David Kalenjian, attended this special event on November 7, in Sutton, MA.
The Home Care Aide Council brings together over 75 home care agencies across Massachusetts to advance our essential workforce. This annual celebration recognizes the exceptional caregivers, care managers, and schedulers who make it possible for elders and individuals with disabilities to remain safely in their own homes.
With 70 nominations across seven award categories, the evening was a powerful reminder of the dedication and compassion that defines our industry. We were honored to celebrate alongside fellow home care professionals and legislative champions who support this vital work.
To all home care professionals: your work enables independence, preserves dignity, and changes lives every single day. We see you, we appreciate you, and we're proud to be part of this incredible community! 💙

We’re excited to share a valuable learning opportunity available to our Advanced Home Care employees!
The Alzheimer’s Association of New England is offering a virtual CEU program that will take place on:
📅 Tuesday, October 29, 2025
🕛 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM EST
This one-hour session is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. Participation in this session will also count as one hour of paid in-service training for all eligible caregivers.
At Advanced Home Care, we’re committed to supporting ongoing learning and professional development. We encourage every eligible caregiver to take advantage of this training session.

Next Steps to Participate:
1. Register for the session through the Alzheimer's Association website Free CEU Programs (alz.org)
2. Forward your registration confirmation to Advanced HR at HR@advancedcarellc.com as soon as possible, so we can document your attendance and arrange in-service compensation.
3. Attend the full session on October 29 to receive your credit.
