Wow! What a weekend…
Our Mother’s Self-Renewal Retreat in Woodstock, VT was nothing short of amazing!

So grateful for the 10 women who chose to prioritize themselves, step outside their comfort zones, and show up with such authenticity, vulnerability, and courage. And to my amazing retreat co-leader, — together we created a weekend that was truly nourishing and transformative in so many ways. 💜

We shared tears and laughter, delicious food, yoga + embodiment practices, heart-centered sharing circles, dancing around the campfire, reiki, and workshops that fostered clarity, compassion, and deeper self-understanding and self-acceptance. The weekend was filled with spaciousness to rest, reflect, breathe, reconnect with our inner wisdom, and remember that we are not alone.

We even had the perfect touch of snow for a truly cozy VT winter feel. The cozy barn, tree houses, and beautiful grounds at made it all feel so special. ❄️

And our private chef Alex, , created the most delicious, nourishing meals — ones we were all so grateful we didn’t have to plan, cook, or clean up after.

This retreat wasn’t just for the moms — it was for their children and families too. These moms returned home more grounded, restored, more present, and with more compassion for themselves and those they love. There is no greater gift we can give our children than this.

The biggest takeaway? The power of meaningful community and connection. Our stories are unique, yet we are more alike than different. We all need and deserve to feel seen, validated, and connected — and this is where healing happens. This is why I love creating spaces for women to gather and show up as themselves. ✨

I am riding high from this retreat and already can’t wait to start planning the next one!
When and where should it be? Let me know 👇

I recently had a mom tell me she joined three different postpartum/new mom groups while on maternity leave (one of them being my Mindful Mom & Baby group) and that they were all so different.

She said that by far our group had the most depth in conversations and connections. I share this because one group isn’t better than another, but Jill Prenovitz Vetstein and I have created something special and unique that moms don’t always realize they are missing or craving until they actually experience it.

This offering comes from my own experience 12 years ago as a new mom craving the real, authentic community and connection with other moms and not being able to find it. There were mom groups and places to be around other moms and “connect” superficially, but honestly none where moms can show up and be real, vulnerable, and feel truly seen, connected, and belong. The safety and presence that’s created in this space allows this to happen.

Our next 7-week Mindful Mom & Baby group starts tomorrow (1/15) in Natick and we have 2 spots left.

If you are a mom with a pre-crawler or know someone who is who is craving authentic connection and community and a space to show up as you are and feel truly seen, we invite you to join us.

I’m so excited to share the next evolution of my work with women and moms:

Rooted 🌿

Rooted is a group coaching program + community for women in all seasons of motherhood seeking a more grounded, balanced, and intentional way of living and mothering.

Rooted is an invitation to slow down, tune out the noise, and come back to yourself—to step out of self-sacrifice, people-pleasing, and always putting your needs last, and into a way of living and mothering that actually supports YOU.

It’s rooted in:
🌿 living a values-driven life
🫶 nervous system support & coming home to your body
🔥 meaningful community & connection
✨ exploring yourself through an IFS lens — getting to know the different parts of yourself, shifting from self-criticism to self-compassion, and becoming more connected to your true self.

If you’re ready to shift from overwhelm, burnout, people pleasing, perfectionism, the pressures and expectations in motherhood, and the feeling of never doing or being enough — and live in a way that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned…

Rooted is here. 🌿

Join a community of women walking this path together — supporting, growing, and showing up for themselves and each other.

Limited to 8 women to allow for deeper connections, conversations, and support.

✨We start Feb 1!✨

✨Join before 1/18 and get $100 OFF with code ROOTED100

A lot of people are wondering why the world feels louder, angrier, and more chaotic right now. Conversations feel off. Reactions feel extreme. It is easy to think people have lost their minds. What we are often seeing instead is unresolved trauma showing up, both personally and collectively.

Trauma is not just about big dramatic events. It lives in the nervous system. It comes from violence and loss, but also from years of neglect, emotional invalidation, or never feeling safe enough to relax. When trauma is unprocessed, the body stays in survival mode. The brain keeps scanning for danger even when there is none. That is why people react fast, defend hard, and cling tightly to certainty.

Now add collective trauma. War, injustice, political unrest, economic stress, and constant global crises are not abstract. They hit the nervous system directly. When someone already carries unhealed trauma, what is happening outside of them becomes even more triggering. Uncertainty feels unbearable. Loss of control feels threatening. So we look outward for someone to fix it. Governments, movements, headlines, and social media become emotional regulators.

This does not mean we ignore injustice or stop caring. It means we notice that fear makes discernment harder. When the nervous system is activated, nuance disappears. That is how media narratives can hijack emotion through repetition, selective images, or even artificial intelligence generated stories. Something can feel true because it activates us, not because it is whole.

Healing can feel scary too. Letting go of trauma can feel like excusing harm or losing an identity that once kept us safe. But staying stuck in survival keeps us reactive and easier to manipulate.

The nervous system does not heal through insight alone. It heals through regulation. When we integrate trauma, the past no longer runs the present. We can respond instead of react.

This moment was warned about across cultures. Confusion increases. Systems wobble. Fear spreads fast. In times like this, neutrality is not apathy. It is stability. People who have done their inner work become steady, not because they are better, but because they are regulated. That steadiness matters.

The real work right now is simple but not easy. Come back to your body. Notice what hooks you. Be honest about what you are consuming and why. Take responsibility for your own regulation. Healing yourself is not separate from helping the world. It is how the world heals.

When enough people come home to themselves, the noise loses its grip.

Your nervous system is part of the medicine.

In all my work with moms and women — the one thing we all need, crave, and so often go without is real, meaningful connection.

There are plenty of places to be around others… but few where we actually feel safe enough to be our true selves and feel deeply seen, held, and supported.

One thing I hear from moms again and again is how much they appreciate the sense of safety I create — a space where they feel more open, able to be vulnerable, and truly feel seen, connected, and less alone. The depth of conversations and connections that happen when we feel safe is something so many are craving and rarely get in everyday life.

My upcoming Mother’s Self-Renewal Retreat (Jan 16-18) is a return:
✨ to being seen and witnessed
✨ to regulated nervous systems, held by nature
✨ to circles around the fire and shared meals
✨ to embodied movement and authentic joy
✨ to the wisdom of your body
✨ to deep belonging

This is what we need as moms — not more doing, scrolling, and over scheduling ourselves… but safe, intentional spaces to come home to ourselves and connect with others through vulnerability, authenticity, and courage ( style 😉).

The full retreat experience: $675 (lodging + meals + workshops)

Workshops + meals only: $450 (find your own local lodging)

Come with a friend? You’ll both get $50 off

Last day to register is this Sunday, 1/11.

3 spots remain.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to join, this is your last invitation to join!
