On August 16th, we proudly participated in our partner agency Wayside’s Back to School Celebration!

The community came together for an afternoon filled with music and fun while gathering school supplies and connecting with local organizations.

Thanks to the incredible support of our partners, 500 community members received school supplies to kick off the year!

One question we get asked a lot: do you provide therapy?

Although our care coordinators are experienced in supporting behavioral health and social service needs, we do not offer direct clinical support through our referral line. Instead, we serve as a bridge to connect you to the right support through one of our partners or another community resource if appropriate.

When you call our Metrowest Care Connection program’s Navigation Line, our knowledgeable care coordinators will walk you through the process to gather information that will assist them in suggesting the right support for you.

Some helpful information to have available about the person being referred is:

✅ Town of residence
✅ Date of birth
✅ Preferred language
✅ Insurance number
✅ List of past/current providers (if any)
✅ List of medications (if any)

Our care coordinators will ask you if you have any preferences for a provider (e.g., gender, location, etc.) and availability (e.g., days/times that work with your schedule).

What languages do you speak?

Our care coordinators speak English, Spanish, and Portuguese. We’re also ready to speak with callers in any language through a phone-based interpretation service.

This month marks 8 years since the launch of MetroWest Care Connection’s Navigation Line! 🎉

Our program has supported nearly 5,000 MetroWest residents over the years. The Navigation Line assists in connecting residents with community resources, including mental health support, substance use and addiction, social supports, and healthcare.

Does it cost anything to use the Navigation Line?

What insurance plans does the Navigation Line take?

Our Care Navigators can assist callers with any insurance or no insurance.

For clinical services, we will connect you to a provider that takes your insurance, whether it is a commercial plan, MassHealth or Medicare.

Don’t have insurance? No problem! We can assist you in connecting with a provider that offers self-pay options or help with insurance enrollment.

Did you know: our Metrowest Care Connection offers its own Navigation Line! This is a toll-free number staffed by friendly and helpful care coordinators, who are available Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Need to talk to someone at night? On Mondays, a care coordinator is available to answer calls from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM.

We got crafty last week at Art Saves Ashland, a creative community event promoting mental health awareness and the arts. 🎨🖌️

Attendees received mental health resources and participated in family focused crafts and activities. The event featured an art show and choral concert from Ashland High School students.
