Advocates has an exciting new opportunity for a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) to make a real impact in the brain injury community!

This is a mobile role that blends independence with strong team support. While based out of Lexington, you’ll serve individuals across MetroWest, the greater Merrimack Valley, greater Boston, and north of Boston, extending all the way to coastal New Hampshire.

In this role, you’ll empower adult survivors of brain injury to build independence through personalized recreation services. No two days look the same—activities are tailored to each person’s interests and goals. You might go cycling on the nearby Minuteman Bikeway, enjoy kayaking, visit museums, join music groups, or explore countless other recreational opportunities. With a wealth of resources in the community, you’ll have endless ways to help people connect, discover new passions, and thrive.

From one-on-one sessions to small group outings, you’ll foster growth and engagement both recreationally and through volunteering. You’ll also collaborate closely with families to provide guidance and encouragement, ensuring a holistic and person-centered support system.

Looking to grow your clinical and supervisory skills? We're seeking a clinical supervisor to provide leadership at a behavioral health respite residence!

As a clinical supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on role in helping individuals access immediate support in the community. We help individuals reach their short-term goals, such as creating safety plans, establishing providers, applying for benefits, building life skills, assessing needs, and, at times, simply providing a safe place to take a break.

No supervisory experience necessary, and we accept a wide variety of master's level clinicians and support those on the pathway to licensure!

Join us in making a real impact through two community initiatives: Joan's Closet, providing clothing to those in need, and House 2 Home, bringing fresh updates to residential programs. This role involves coordinating volunteers and donations and traveling to programs across several Massachusetts towns.

We're looking for someone who is open, non-judgmental, hands-on, and ready to help transform lives. English fluency is required, and ASL or other language skills are a plus!

Based in Framingham with travel required. Flexible schedule during business hours—preferably Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Pay is $22.63/hour.
