Got recently back from Mexico. Tested out my solar callous. Yes, you can create solar callous with exposure to red and infrared light. Learned that from Dr. Jack Kruse. I was able to spend all day in the sun without a shirt. Shoulders got little red and sensitive but next day the sensitivity was gone. I am sure I was able to load up on vitamin D. You need the strong UVB to do that. Without solar callous I got sunburn by just going for a swim from a shade. If it sounds unbelievable, it's not. Even somebody with freckled Irish skin can build up tolerance to UV light. All you have to do is to get out naked in the morning first two hours after sunrise when there's is no UV just red and infrared. These lights condition your skin so you can absorb more UV. UVA and UVB are vital to your health. If your dermatologist wants to block you from UV light ask him why is it that every cancer, including all skin cancers, are linked to low vitamin D? ( D supplements don't work. They only raise LDL cholesterol and triglytcerides)
