Dear Yoga Leaf Community,
What a difference a day makes!!! I started my day yesterday feeling hopeful and looking forward to the spring, but then, after a sleepless night last night, my day began full of concerns!
The first thing I did was go to my yoga mat for a grounding practice...followed by a mindful meditation, during which I contemplated whether or not to close The Yoga Leaf...temporarily? After speaking with friends and family it became clear that I should, at least until there is more understanding of where this virus is heading and much more guidance is being offered for small businesses such as our 'little' studio, coming from the "powers that be"!!!!
We will follow the guidelines of Framingham Schools and University, and close tomorrow Friday, March 13th - 21st, then reevaluate for the following week! During this time The Yoga Leaf will be cleaned thoroughly!
Sarah, Eileen and I are talking about creative ways to bring yoga to you all in the event that this goes on for an extended period of time...on which we will keep you posted!! In the meantime, we will extend the winter session one more week ending April 10th! You can certainly let me know if you are planning on continuing in the spring, but hold off on sending in payments until we have a better idea of how this is all going!
This situation is all new to us and I feel we're all making it up as we go along, but the one thing that stays constant for me is the fact that my yoga practice keeps me grounded...and...my heart and my mind open...I encourage you all to practice a little yoga daily, even if it's just a mindful breath and I promise we will do our best to keep sharing yoga with you somehow, someway!!!!
Let's all stay grounded and present, be mindful and kind...and pray that this virus is contained quickly!
Thank you for understanding!
~Sandra, Eileen & Sarah
