Our generous Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm on our Framingham campus and staff of Carmel Terrace Assisted Living and St Patrick's Manor donated 23 backpacks filled with school supplies! We delivered them to United Way of Tri-County, where they were given to students in the area.

On this Feast of the Assumption, we honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, taken body and soul into eternal glory. Her Assumption reveals the deep truth of our faith, that death is not an end, but a passage—and that every life, including the lives of the sick and aged, is sacred. Mary, in her humility and grace, has gone before us, showing the way.
May this holy day renew our hope and remind us of the beauty in every stage of life.

We always look forward to our outdoor concerts with Kalifornia Karl / Joyful Noise Music, and his special guest, Christiana Caprarelli Christiana Cap Music. Both artists are excellent entertainers and have marvelous voices. We found out that Karl appeared and sang in the movie, Duets, and Christiana has an impressive theater and music resume. Their duet of The Prayer was sublime!

For us, this gathering is more than a conference—it’s an opportunity to share the vision of Carith Ministries, preserving Catholic healthcare and elder care ministries, and ensuring that the difference is love remains at the heart of our service.

Summer is one of our favorite times of year at Carmel Terrace. We recently added drone photos to our library, thanks to Damianos Photography. Our resident, Donna helps us keep our interior and exterior plants healthy, and earlier this month, ComForCare Home Care brought ice cream and fixings for our residents!

Her quiet strength, maternal care, and deep connection to prayer inspire us to live with compassion, humility, and unwavering faith. May her mantle of love continue to guide and protect all who serve in the Carmelite tradition and all who entrust themselves to her care.

Good Afternoon, Carmel Terrace Residents, Families, Carmelite Sisters and Staff,

It's my pleasure to announce that Amy Pessia, former Community Relations Director for Carmel Terrace and St. Patrick's Manor has accepted the role of Admissions and Marketing Director at Carmel Terrace, effective July 7, 2025.

Amy joined our campus in 2023, and since then she has assisted with numerous projects and special events. Amy was nominated to attend, and she completed the Roots of Caring leadership program with the Avila Institute of Gerontology in 2024. Amy demonstrates a strong commitment to the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm Mission and Core Values.

Amy succeeds Dixie Emond, our Admissions and Marketing Director of over 8 years. Prior to joining the Carmelite System, Amy was Executive Director of the Merrimack Valley Food Bank for 20 years and truly has a heart for service. She brings experience in relationship building, marketing, community service and a desire to connect residents and families with a carefree, caring atmosphere at Carmel Terrace and to our entire campus. Amy enjoys meeting and spending time with our residents in both Carmel Terrace and St. Patrick's Manor.
