Our Little Story

Hot Minute Mama was created out of a need for convenience! As a former foods teacher, a lover of the kitchen, and a mama herself- the founder, Christa Stoller, realized that all too often it was time to feed her family and she was out of a particular ingredient or worse, multiple ingredients! Or let’s face it, everyone was hungry and she hadn’t considered what she was going to make that night. With Francesville being so far from a grocery store, she realized that she could offer a service that families could buy meals to stock up their freezers for times such as this! Hot Minute Mama was born so that any person can stop in and purchase a meal (or two), and be able to feed their family in a Hot Minute!

Christa is a newbie to Francesville, having moved here to marry her sweetheart Ben. They have two beautiful sons Theodore (Teddy), and James. She has always loved the kitchen, which lead her to get a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher Education. After teaching for four years (middle and high school Home Ec) in Ohio, she moved to Francesville to start a life here with her farmer husband. After a few years of marriage and couple of kids, she was itching to get into the kitchen more, and make a business of it. With the support of her family, Christa hopes that Hot Minute Mama meals will become a staple at the tables of families all around Francesville and the surrounding areas. She hopes that the food will provide nourishment to many, and a reason for people to gather and eat together. As the business grows from the ground-up, she gives all glory to God for the goodness it may bring to people.

“Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” -1 Thessalonians 5:18
