Today, Obsidian turns FOUR.

What started as a fragile dream has since been built on sleepless nights, mistakes that became lessons, countless tears, and an unshakable belief that beauty & confidence can change lives. There were times I doubted myself, but God carried me through every step — and looking back now, I see His hand in it all.

This journey has been about resilience, faith, and a relentless drive to keep becoming better — for myself, for my patients, for my team, and for the future of Obsidian.

First & foremost, I thank God for guiding every step of this journey. I thank my family and friends who stood by me through every high & low and have loved me through every doubt & every milestone. I thank my team…you are my family, the ones who carry this dream with me and make it possible. Thank you for your constant support & grace through my many mistakes. You are the heart of Obsidian just as much as I am.

Finally, to our patients…
Thank you for trusting me — for allowing me to walk beside you in your journeys, for supporting this dream, and for turning it into something so much more. You are the reason Obsidian exists, and I would not be here without you. 🖤

Perimenopause is its own chaos. It’s one crazy chapter. It’s not just the prelude to menopause. It’s a full-on hormonal roller coaster. And it can last ten years! 😳 That’s an entire decade of your life where you could be suffering & have no idea why. That’s because 90% of women do not know what to expect in menopause and certainly what to expect in peri-menopause.

Well, that’s insanity to me. And I’m here to educate & inform women what they can expect and empower them with options of what they can do about it. It’s 2025 people and the whole “learn to deal with it because it’s part of being a woman” makes me 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄😖!!
