๐Ÿš‘๐ŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Corbin Lopez, FP-C! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿš‘

Weโ€™re proud to announce that Paramedic Corbin Lopez is now a Board-Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) through the International Board of Specialty Certification (IBSC).

Corbin has continued to distinguish himself through his work ethic, clinical growth, and commitment to becoming a high-level critical care clinician. He brings a calm demeanor, strong critical thinking skills, and a genuine desire to keep improving. One thing to know about Corbin is that he loves a challenge. Whether it be a challenging exam, patient simulation, or a real case that demands critical thinking, Corbin is always up for the challenge. That mindset matters in critical care medicine, and itโ€™s been exciting to watch his progression.

Corbin finished our 2025 Paramedic Program in December and has already crushed this exam on his first attempt. This is a testimony to both Corbin and the standard of our education at Clinton County EMS.

The FP-C is an international board certification and one of the most respected credentials in critical care transport medicine. The exam is known for its rigor and low pass rates, meaning only a small percentage of paramedics nationwide ever earn this designation. Achieving board certification reflects advanced mastery of critical care medicine, physiology, pharmacology, ventilator management, and high-acuity clinical decision-making.

This accomplishment reflects Corbinโ€™s dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence in patient care. Weโ€™re proud to have him on our team and excited to see where his career continues to go.

Please join us in congratulating Corbin on this outstanding achievement ๐Ÿ‘
Well earned and well deserved.

๐Ÿš‘PRECEPTOR OF THE YEAR โ€” Jacy Parnin๐ŸŽ‰

Precepting isnโ€™t easy. It takes patience, consistency, and the willingness to let someone learn while youโ€™re still responsible for patient care. The people who do it well teach skills, build confidence, and clinical judgment in a safe and supportive environment.

Thatโ€™s exactly why Jacy was selected as our Preceptor of the Year by the students she worked with. That says more than anything else could.

Jacy shows up every shift ready to teach, challenge, and support the people sheโ€™s working with. She holds high standards, but she also puts in the time to help others reach them. Our new providers are better prepared, more confident, and safer because of the effort she invests in them. She embodies a life long learning mentality and cares deeply for the quality of the healthcare system.

This recognition is well deserved, and weโ€™re lucky to have her on our team.

Congratulations, Jacy.

We are thrilled to announce another very special milestone for our paramedic program as we celebrate the graduation of our second cohort: THE FANTASTIC FOUR! Over the past 12 months, our graduates have shown incredible growth, resilience, and determination. We are proud to announce that they have all passed their National Registry Exam on their FIRST attempt and are now all Indiana-licensed paramedics.

This unique program is successful because of Paramedic Program Director, Dolores Paul. She brings an unrivalled passion, dedication, and expertise to the classroom.
