We are closing the office for two weeks and heading down south! We'd like to thank every one of our patients for your support and understanding. Below, you'll find a few tips and tricks that might prove helpful while we are away!
If your hearing aid is not working:
1. Try replacing the wax filter.
2. Try replacing the squishy black tip (dome) that goes in the ear.
3. Try pressing and holding the button on the hearing aid in the down or back position for 4 seconds.
4. If you're still having troubles - try pressing and holding the button for a full 20 seconds. Then, put the hearing aid in its charger, wait 10 seconds, and pop it in your ear!
If your hearing aid is not connecting to your phone:
1. Put phone calls on speaker-phone. Your hearing aids will still amplify the phone call - but keep in mind you will need to talk into your phone like you normally would without hearing aids.
2. Restart your cell phone completely. Turning it off and on again may jolt the connection back into place.
Thank you all - And please feel free to call us at (765) 601-4003 and leave a voicemail - we will return your call and get you scheduled as soon as we return!
