We’re honored to share some incredible news! 🧡🦃

Our team at iCan Dream Center has partnered with Jewel-Osco to support families in our community who are facing real and urgent challenges. With food benefits being cut and grocery prices continuing to rise, many families are struggling to keep up — and we knew we had to respond.

Thanks to the generosity of Jewel-Osco, 125 turkey dinners will be provided to families in need this week. This partnership is a beautiful example of what happens when community steps up for community.

At iCan Dream, we are committed to supporting our families beyond the classroom. Meeting basic needs is foundational to learning, dignity, and hope — which is why these partnerships matter so deeply.

🌟 Ranch Youth Ambassador Program – November Meeting This Thursday! 🌟

Our Ranch Youth Ambassador Program meets again this Thursday, November 20th, at 6:00 PM! Junior high and high school students are invited to join us for our monthly hands-on volunteer session, where they’ll build skills, support ranch operations, and make a positive impact in our community.

Each meeting gives our youth ambassadors the chance to strengthen teamwork, learn responsibility, and participate in meaningful projects around the ranch — from animal care support to outdoor cleanup and barn tasks.

✨ A Heartfelt Thank You to Matt Adkins ✨

We are deeply grateful to Matt Adkins for joining us and sharing such a meaningful experience with our group.

His performance on the Native American flute created a peaceful, grounding atmosphere for both our social skills group and our mini herd.
It was truly awe-inspiring to witness the connection, calm, and curiosity that unfolded during this moment.

We appreciate Matt for offering his time, talent, and cultural artistry in such a thoughtful and respectful way.

Our herd — and our humans — are still feeling the positive energy from this beautiful experience. 🤍🐴🎶

🌿 The Ranch had an incredible time at the Adulting Conference hosted by the iCanDreamCenter at Moraine Valley Community College!

We’re so thankful for the licensed clinicians from The Healing Center who come to The Ranch each week to provide quality mental health services and support for our community.

💙 A special shout-out to Nicole Tucker, LSW and Janette Johnson, LSW, for being guest speakers on mental health and sleep — such an important topic for young adults learning to navigate independence and wellness!

🐾 Two special guests also joined the fun — Buoy, our certified therapy dog, and Mr. Beef, our therapy dog in training — who brought smiles and calm to everyone they met!

✨ The Ranch is proud to serve as a transition program location for the iCanDreamCenter, helping students grow, learn, and build confidence for their futures.
