Valley View Care Center Skilled Nursing facility that specializes in Dementia and Alzheimer's Care. Valley View Alzheimer's Care Center was created in 1968.

Providing the highest standard of care to individuals in Southern Ohio. Our quiet, rural facility is the perfect setting for special country touches, like our made from scratch pies and comfortable front porch rocking chairs. Thoughtful staff members are dedicated to providing specialized personal care and round-the-clock attention. Our low staff turn over allows residents to come to know and trust their care givers. We are committed to assist our respite, short-term rehabilitation, and long-term memory care residents in leading meaningful lives. We accept Medicare and Medicaid and are an equal opportunity facility.

We had a very special visitor at Embassy of Valley View last week — Frank the Therapy Dog!

Frank traveled all the way from Minneapolis with his human, Robert Malcomson, to spend time with our residents. Robert’s sister, Laurie Ray, lives in Chillicothe, and Valley View was the home of their beloved mother, Judy , from 2020–2022.

Frank is no ordinary pup , he brings joy to schools, senior communities, and workplaces, and also holds several titles in Tricks and Agility dog shows. Our residents absolutely loved his visit, and we are so grateful for the happiness he brought to Valley View.

Thank you, Robert, Laurie, and of course, Frank, for sharing your time and love with us!

Our residents have been enjoying every moment of creating a butterfly habitat—from caring for the caterpillars to watching the amazing transformation inside the cocoons. The excitement and joy were priceless as a beautiful butterfly finally emerged!

Today we treated our emplyees to a fun carnival-themed event complete with:

Snow cones and lunch for our entire team.

Embassy of Valley View wrapped up National Nursing Home Week with a festive carnival for both residents and staff!
The celebration featured classic carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, prizes, corn dogs, and lots of fun and laughter. It was a wonderful week of engagement, joy, and togetherness.

Wild West Wednesday at Embassy of Valley View!

We had a rootin’-tootin’ good time today celebrating another day of National Nursing Home Week with a Wild West theme!

The staff enjoyed cowboy hotdogs, fresh popped popcorn, jchips with salsa and queso BLT dip, root beer floats (heavy on the root!), jerky sticks and cupcakes to top it all off.

The photo booth was a big hit—so many laughs and fun moments captured! We’re loving every minute of this special week and can’t wait to see what the rest of the days bring!

We’re kicking off National Nursing Home Week in style here at Embassy of Valley View!

We started the celebration yesterday with a sweet treat for all our amazing staff and residents—donuts, muffins, cookies, and orange juice to fuel the fun!

The rest of the week is packed with themed days and enjoyable engagement between our employees and our residents. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s ahead:
• Tie-Dye Day
• Western Day
• Purple Palooza
• Carnival Day to wrap up the week with lots of fun and games planned.
