Chronic pain can also involve brain-down mechanisms of both conscious and unconscious affective disorder. Conscious affective is how we think, act, behave and cope with our physical problems. There are words that harm and there are words that heal. Unconscious affective disorder applies to forgotten traumas that are stored in the memory box and will manifest symptoms in our physical bodies.

The Hart Wellness Center would like to welcome our brand new chiropractic associate, Dr. Brandon R Wilkes II! Brandon graduated from National University of Health Sciences on August 15th, 2025 after completing a complete and intensive one-on-one clinical training program at THWC with Derek J Hartmann, DC. He began seeing patients on September 2, 2025.

Brandon Wilkes II is a lifelong martial artist whose passion for sport, movement, and the human body led him to earn a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. What We Do

We begin by learning as much as we can about our patients through a complete history and examination

We then find ways that our patients can self-treat and self-manage their individual condition

We conclude by performing the most effective and most efficient manual therapy methods to fix our patients as fast as humanly possible
