Gratitude doesn’t have to be big.

Sometimes it’s as simple as noticing what helped you get through the day.

What’s one small thing you’re thankful for today?

Wellness Wednesday | Black History Month

Dr. Mamie Phipps Clark’s work showed how social conditions — including racism — shape emotional development and self-perception. Her research helped make visible what had long gone unnamed.

In mental health, naming our feelings matters. When emotions go unspoken, they often surface as anxiety, irritability, numbness, or burnout.

Language gives us access to choice, support, and healing. Naming what we feel is not weakness — it’s clarity and power.

This week’s reflection:
What emotion have you been holding but haven’t yet named?

Motivation Monday | Black History Month

Long before mental health care was formalized, Black communities practiced healing in collective ways.

Churches, mutual aid networks, elders, family systems, and community spaces offered emotional support, guidance, and care when access to formal services was limited or denied.

Mental health has never been just an individual journey — it has always been relational. Connection helps regulate stress, reduce isolation, and remind us that we don’t have to carry everything alone.

This week’s reflection:
Who helps you feel emotionally supported and seen?

❤️🖤💚 Mental health is part of Black history. Healing is part of our legacy.

Wellness Wednesday check-in ✨
Your mind deserves the same care you give everything else. Pause today. Breathe deeper. Speak to yourself with intention. Healing and rest are part of your power — not a reward you have to earn.

Drop a 🖤 if you’re choosing gentleness with yourself today.

Wellness Wednesday 💕

This Valentine’s Day, let’s remember:
The most important relationship you’ll ever have is the one with yourself.

Speak to yourself with kindness.
Challenge negative self-talk.
Choose compassion over criticism.

You are worthy.
You are enough.
You deserve love — especially from you.

Today’s reminder: build a better relationship with yourself, one gentle thought at a time 💗

With love,

For Britany, therapy is about creating a space where clients feel supported enough to show up as they are—and brave enough to grow from there.

Every therapist brings their own perspective into the room, but the heart of the work is always the same: helping people feel seen, heard, and supported.

Motivation Monday | Black History Month

Black history is often told through pain — but it also holds laughter, creativity, and joy.

Zora Neale Hurston captured Black life in its fullness, reminding us that joy is not a denial of hardship. It is a way of surviving it.

From a mental health perspective, joy matters. It supports resilience, regulates stress, and reminds us that we are more than what we’ve endured.

This week’s reflection:
What brings you joy without needing to be productive or useful?

❤️🖤💚 Mental health is part of Black history. Healing is part of our legacy.

What therapy means to Liz: A space for expression. A place to be honest. A room where you don’t have to filter yourself.

Therapy isn’t about fixing who you are—it’s about making room for your voice.

Therapy looks different depending on who you ask—but at its core, it’s about feeling seen, supported, and safe.

For this week’s Thursday with a Therapist, we asked our clinicians:
“What does therapy mean to you?”

We hope these reflections help demystify what happens in the therapy room—and remind you that you don’t have to carry everything alone.

Wellness Wednesday ✨
This Black History Month, we’re honoring the truth that rest is revolutionary.
Rest is not laziness. It’s resistance. It’s healing. It’s a way we care for ourselves and our community.

Prioritizing Black wellness means giving ourselves permission to slow down, breathe, and restore—without guilt.

Today’s reminder: you deserve rest, softness, and support 💛
Your well-being matters.
