Gratitude doesn’t have to be big.

Sometimes it’s as simple as noticing what helped you get through the day.

What’s one small thing you’re thankful for today?

Mental health doesn’t exist in isolation.
It’s connected to our bodies, our relationships, our stress levels, and how we move through the world.

In today’s Thursday with a Therapist, our clinicians share why mental health matters to them — and how caring for your mind is an essential part of your overall well-being, not something separate from it.

Supporting your mental health is supporting your whole self.

Productivity will always ask for more.
Your well-being deserves to come first anyway.

Rest is not falling behind — it’s sustaining yourself.

Therapy isn’t a quick fix — and it isn’t passive.

In this Thursday with a Therapist, our clinicians share one thing they wish more people understood about therapy: it takes willingness, curiosity, and sometimes trying things that feel unfamiliar.

It can be challenging. It can be uncomfortable.
And it can also be deeply meaningful.

You don’t have to have it all figured out — just a willingness to begin.

Honesty isn’t aggression.
Boundaries aren’t attitude.
Self-advocacy isn’t selfish.

Naming your truth is a form of wellness.

Wellness Wednesday | Black History Month

Dr. Mamie Phipps Clark’s work showed how social conditions — including racism — shape emotional development and self-perception. Her research helped make visible what had long gone unnamed.

In mental health, naming our feelings matters. When emotions go unspoken, they often surface as anxiety, irritability, numbness, or burnout.

Language gives us access to choice, support, and healing. Naming what we feel is not weakness — it’s clarity and power.

This week’s reflection:
What emotion have you been holding but haven’t yet named?

Motivation Monday | Black History Month

Long before mental health care was formalized, Black communities practiced healing in collective ways.

Churches, mutual aid networks, elders, family systems, and community spaces offered emotional support, guidance, and care when access to formal services was limited or denied.

Mental health has never been just an individual journey — it has always been relational. Connection helps regulate stress, reduce isolation, and remind us that we don’t have to carry everything alone.

This week’s reflection:
Who helps you feel emotionally supported and seen?

❤️🖤💚 Mental health is part of Black history. Healing is part of our legacy.
