Craniosacral Therapy is a huge part of my practice, yet I still struggle to explain to clients exactly what it is. It’s not that it’s complicated—its use is just so vast. It’s a tool to access healing, and each therapist can use that tool differently.

What is Craniosacral Therapy to me? There is a movement in the body. It’s different from the rhythm of your heartbeat or breathing. It’s deeper and more subtle. If I get very still and quiet, I can feel it. There is a power and intelligence to it. All I know is that when I feel it, the body shifts, opens, releases. Then, the best part of the session is....when you feel it to.

I held someones liver in my hands this week and I could hear and feel it say, "Thank you".

This client came in with right shoulder pain. I did some massage work around that shoulder, releasing any held tension, but it actually was the liver that needed most of the care. As I held the liver, it was as if it took a deep breath. I then felt a gentle release down the right side of her body.

Who can benefit from Abdominal Therapy? Everyone!!

Those pains you feel throughout your body may just be a restricted organ asking for some additional care.

Spent a few days in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. The energy was incredible! If you want to feel what it's like to connect with something greater than yourself, spend some time with a mountain.
