Employee of the Month Spotlight – Nichole Black
Please join us in celebrating Nichole Black, our Employee of the Month for February at Wesley Manor!
Nichole has been a valued member of our team since March 19, 2018, serving as a dedicated Housekeeper for over 7½ years. Her hard work, positive spirit, and commitment to her residents truly make a difference every day.
Originally from Michigantown, Indiana, Nichole has built a wonderful life with her husband Gary, with whom she has shared 34 years together. She is a proud mother of 3 children —and an even prouder grandmother to 10 grandchildren!
When she’s not at work, Nichole enjoys fishing and running her food trailer, a business she proudly started called Mamaw’s Dogz. Opening the trailer is one of her greatest accomplishments, and she’s proud of how far the business has come.
Nichole chose to work at Wesley Manor during a difficult time in her life after the loss of her mother. She shared that working here became the missing piece she needed, helping her find purpose and connection again. We are grateful that she chose to become part of our Wesley Manor family.
Her best advice to others is simple but powerful:
“Just be yourself and believe in yourself when no one else does.”
