Discover why mindfulness is transforming education by joining us for this cutting-edge 3-credit course, “The Mindful Classroom,” and learn how the practice of mindfulness is being successfully used around the world to help educators address many of the difficult social and emotional situations common in today's school settings. This course, developed collaboratively by Wilson College and Eduspire, will demystify the term ‘mindfulness’ and uncover its ancient roots to offer modern, education-friendly ideas and practices. The participant will have a chance to practice mindfulness first, then move on to explore and identify classroom practices which may be of benefit to students.
