As the daffodils unfold and spring lurks around the corner, “becoming” feels pronounced.
But becoming is always underway- in moments of rest and activity, silence and noise, boredom and inspiration, uncertainty and clarity, calm and chaos, and everything in between.
It is an ongoing story; threshold leading to new thresholds, edges ever pulsing and widening, chapters of continuity unfolding.
To consciously participate in such a journey isn’t always easy- it’s scary, confusing, heavy, despairing, and uncomfortable at times. But to not participate is to thwart our innate wisdom, to abandon what we know to be true in our core, to forgo our inherent genuine desires, and to forget our place in the wider web of things leading dis-ease from the micro to the macro.
To accept our becoming is to turn toward what is present with curiosity and compassion; it is surrendered participation as both reclamation and resistance because it excavates body as a doorway, nature as kin, slowness as life giving, belonging as glue, the sacred in daily living and rejects the messaging that more is better, othering is safer, masking is a baseline for acceptance, and that we’re fundamentally flawed and not enough.
That is my long form way of inviting you into surrendered participation with becoming through the intelligence of the natural world, your body, presence, your belonging, and the sacred as a part of our Spring Equinox Story Weaving 🌼🌼🌼.
