April showers bring May flowersâ¨đ
As seasons change⌠emotionally and physically, everything changes around us.
We are cyclic human beings, sucked into mundane sameness until something inspires us to move and shake things up a bit. This is why I loveee it when the seasons change because it means that itâs time to embrace some changes in my life as wellđ§đźââď¸
Seeds canât be planted in the winter and expect to grow, right? Flowers wonât bloom until theyâve been watered and nurtured in the correct environment, right? We canât expect to harvest our food when thereâs still snow on the ground, right?
The same goes for us. Thereâs a reason for every season. We plant, we grow, we harvest, we rest.
Spring welcomes new energy, a new year, symbolizing seeds being planted, waking up from hibernation, shaking the stagnant dormant energy out of your body, welcoming newness, giving us hope.
Instead of resisting it, recognize that these cycles all around us are meant to help us, not hurt us, and that the more in tune we can become to these cycles, the more ease we can feel and experience when moving through these changes instead.
Know that itâs okay if change feels icky sometimes⌠it only feels like this because itâs uncomfortable. We feel âsafeâ where we are. But, weâre meant to change, weâre meant to grow, weâre meant to evolve just as the seasons do.
Donât forget to give yourself grace in this process because seasons donât change overnight and neither will you. Itâs a gradual mixture of both ugliness and beauty until one finally subsides. Itâs exactly everything youâre supposed to experience for your evolvement. What is this season youâre in teaching you? Where youâre resisting change in your life? And why? How can you let go a little bit more as you embrace this new spring energy?
