Last weeks' Referral Strategy Meeting was extremely valuable. I think we all learned a lot as we went through the case study, and I met several new people (since I was not actively in the biz for a year or so). Speaking of the biz, The Biz is the title of my Monday email. If you're in the Nashville senior services industry you need to be on the mailing list. In addition to providing an expert tip and an update on what's going on for ALL South Nashville, it lists all of the networking/marketing events in the coming week. We've received very positive feedback about the email's value!

Unlike George Costanza, I love it when worlds collide! I'm the Commander of the Franklin VFW and my work friend, JoAnne Brundage with Realty One Group, Music City, and her husband Dave stopped by our Musical Showcase last Saturday. They saw a spectacular show, which included the writer of "Bobbie Sue" and "Riding with Private Malone," as well as many other writers and performers. Don't miss our next one on August 16th!

Just got back from a Fourth of July trip back to Nebraska. The state is often overlooked, but this is what I experienced this past week: the warmth of a celebration of life in my hometown Norfolk, the majestic emptiness of the Sandhills region, a small town Independence Day parade (yes, that's a guy dressed up as a steak on the float - only in Nebraska), an airboat tour on the Platte River, and a wonderful, cathartic, over the top fireworks show at the lake where my family has gathered for nearly three decades. Visit Nebraska with the proper tour guide/friend, and you'll not regret it.

Nancy's holiday was tamer than mine, but she enjoyed the rest as well. We certainly hope all of you had a blessed holiday weekend, and we look forward to serving our senior clients, their families, and our valued referral providers.
