Acupuncture is a form of alternative medicine in which small slender needles are inserted under the skin to correct imbalances of natural energy found throughout the body. In small animals these imbalances can be attributed but not limited to; musculoskeletal problems, such as arthritis or vertebral disc pathology and hip dysplasia, gastrointestinal problems, skin problems, and respiratory problems.
