Wow, 2020... The year Optometrist have talked about since they were in Optometry school. That didn't turn out quite like I expected. It was a challenge to adapt, but we did it at Wilkins Eye Care... facing a global pandemic! How did we do it?... because of our patients who put their trust in us to provide quality eye care in a safe manner showed up for us! Thank you!!! My family is truly blessed to live in our community. We did it because I have a loving wife who supported me to the fullest! We did it because my staff here is top notch! We did it because God provides! Let's go 2021! JANUARY 2017
Dr. Wilkins completed the Chicago Marathon, in Oct 2016, in just over 4 hours. On January 17, 2017 we celebrated the birth of Abigail Reese Wilkins! We are so happy we are seeing so many previous patients and a growing number each week from Franklin and the surrounded communities! Thank you so much! GRAND OPENING OCTOBER 2016
Justin C. Wilkins, OD is an Optometrist who lives in Franklin, KY with his beautiful wife, Amanda, who is also an Optometrist. They have 2 awesome children, Austin who will be starting kindergarten this fall, and Molly who is 2. Dr. Wilkins has been located in Greenwood Mall for 8 years, but in October of 2016 he is opening a private practice closer to home. He will be accepting new and existing patients, have an optical, and offer more insurance options. We hope to be a big part of the community. Currently Dr. Wilkins and his family attend First Baptist Portland. Dr. Wilkins enjoys family activities, deer hunting, and is currently training for his first marathon!

Our Story

JANUARY 2018

Wilkins Eye Care & Optical has been in Franklin, KY for over a year now. Time flies when you love what you do! From Eye Care, to coaching his 3 year old daughter’s soccer team, his first graders basketball team, from Chamber activities, to working V.B.S.; Dr. Wilkins and his family are so thankful for this opportunity to get deeper involved in our community. Dr. Wilkins completed the 25th Disney Marathon in January 2018. Last year he completed the Nashville Marathon and Bowling Green Marathon. Abigail started walking at 8 months! Come in and see us. We have a mission of providing you with clear, comfortable, healthy vision! Also for 2018 Dr. Wilkins will be a participant on the FS Youth Soccer Board, and he has had the honor of being selected to be an ordained deacon beginning Jan 2018. We are blessed each day!
