• Both are wrinkle relaxers made from botulinum toxin. They work the same way: by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles.
• Botox: The OG brand, usually thought of as the “classic.” It’s precise, so it’s often chosen for small areas like frown lines or crow’s feet.
• Dysport: Spreads a little more once injected, so it can be great for larger areas like the forehead. It also tends to kick in a bit faster (2–3 days vs. 4–7 for Botox).

Both last about the same time (3–4 months). The choice usually comes down to your injector’s preference, the area being treated, and sometimes patient response (some people just “take” to one brand better).
