A huge thank you to the Tennessean for publishing my article this month in both their print & online editions. It's been an honor to share my thoughts during this trying time. It's been a rough road for all of us & we are not in the clear yet. Many difficulties lay ahead as the state gradually begins to open up in the coming month. Please keep in mind there are close to 5 million silent carriers of this disease in the US-stay mindful and safe, and stay healthy.

By continuing to shelter in place, we fight the spread of the coronavirus and help protect others, including my nursing home patients.

It is everyone’s duty. While these are trying times encompassing great fear, risk, and stress for all of us, staying educated, diligent, and showing compassion for others WILL save a life. I encourage everyone to continue to follow & take seriously the recommended protocol by the CDC right now including strictly limiting social interaction, public exposure, and following important hygiene practices. 😷🙏
