What is Edema?
Edema is swelling caused by excess fluid trapped in the body's tissues, commonly affecting the legs, ankles, and feet.
Reasons you may have it:
-Prolonged sitting or standing, move and walk around or wear compression socks
-High salt intake
-Certain drugs, such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, steroids, and some diabetes medication.
Call your P*P or your podiatrist if symptoms start to get worse
