👂✨ When most people picture hearing aids, they’re thinking of the Receiver-in-Canal (RIC) design—the most common style today. Nearly invisible when worn, RICs sit comfortably in the ear with a thin, clear wire and dome. Perfect for mild to moderate hearing loss, they offer an open fit, advanced features (like Bluetooth!), and come in both rechargeable and battery-powered options. Small, discreet, and packed with convenience.

👂✅ Behind-the-Ear (BTE) and Receiver-in-the-Ear (RITE) hearing aids are some of the most versatile options available. With the main components resting behind the ear and a tube or wire connecting to a small speaker in the ear, these models work well for patients of all ages. They’re easy to repair and adjust since parts can be replaced as needed. While more visible than other styles, their reliability and power make them a top choice for many.

👂🔋 In-the-Ear (ITE) hearing aids sit in the bowl-shaped part of your ear and come in two styles: “full shell” or “part shell.” Their larger size makes them easier to handle, allows for longer battery life, and packs in more features—perfect for those who want both power and convenience. While more visible than CiC or ITC models, many patients appreciate the comfort and custom fit.
