Happy birthday to Carol Kurti! 💕

Carol is Dr. Kurti’s wife, a registered nurse, co-founder of Kurti Orthodontics, and truly part of the heart of this practice from the very beginning.

Through the years, Carol has been an encourager, organizer, steady presence, and helping hand in so many parts of the practice. She helped shape the caring, family-centered spirit that patients and families have felt in our offices for decades.

Carol’s fingerprints are all over the story of Kurti Orthodontics, from the early days of building the practice to the culture of care that still matters so much to us today.

Today we took a little time to celebrate Emily with a baby shower as she prepares to welcome her second child next month. 💕

Emily is such an important part of our Murphy office. Many of our patients know her from the front desk, but behind the scenes she also steps in chairside and helps wherever she is needed.

We are so excited for Emily and her growing family, and we are grateful we still have a few more weeks with her before she begins maternity leave. Please join us in wishing her a peaceful final stretch and a sweet welcome for this new little one!

We’re continuing the celebration for Debbie Farmer and her 20 years with Kurti Orthodontics!

Debbie officially joined the practice on May 1, 2006, bringing years of experience as a cosmetologist and a lifelong interest in dental assisting. She laughs now about how much there was to learn in those early days: teeth numbers, brackets, wires, instruments, and all the little details that make orthodontics work.

That perspective is part of what makes Debbie such a gift to our team. She remembers what it feels like to be new, and she has helped train and encourage many of the newer assistants along the way.

Over the years, Debbie has seen a lot change, from traditional impressions to digital scanning, but she says the heart of the work has stayed the same: caring for patients, working carefully, and getting to see each smile come together.

One thing Debbie said in her interview really stuck with us: “Beautiful smiles come out of this office.”

They sure do, and Debbie has been part of so many of them.

Debbie, thank you for 20 years of steady hands, patient care, practical wisdom, and loyalty to this practice. We are so grateful for you!

Spring Break Schedule Update 🌼

Kurti Orthodontics will be out of the office from April 6–10 for Spring Break. Our Murphy and Franklin offices will reopen with regular hours on April 13.

We’re grateful to serve families across Murphy, Franklin, Western North Carolina, and nearby North Georgia with trusted orthodontic care, including braces and clear aligners.
