As most of you know, Dr. Crystal and Paul Rodenbeck accepted an offer to team up with a practice in Austin, TX and have moved their sweet family there to pursue life in Texas. Dr. Tracey Huffman has stepped right in here in middle TN and has taken on Live Free Chiroplus as her own now, and we are so happy to have her kind, gentle, caring self with us! Many of you probably recognize her from being a part of the team while she lived in Georgia, but she has now moved to Franklin, TN and calls Tennessee home! She loves the people in this area and loves playing a part in linking arms with people on their journey of health. Helps us show Dr. Tracey lots of love! 🤍

Live Free strives to bring you optimal health by addressing the physical, chemical and emotional aspects of the body to get to the root of the problem and how the body is functioning as a whole—not just the symptom. Our vision is to have our patients LIVE FREE, not dependent.
Dr. Crystal’s passion for health and wellness was evident at a very young age and truly blossomed when her own body abruptly began shutting down in high school. She grew up active and playing sports, dedicated to her running and basketball programs when suddenly, her body could no longer take the stress. After multiple doctors and thousands of dollars of testing, no one could answer a simple question: why? She found a chiropractor specializing in kinesiology and flourished in their care. Various adjustments with proper supplementation and nutrition got her back on track and racing at the collegiate level. Her passion grew deep roots in this experience and propelled her to the Athletic Training program at Kansas Wesleyan University. She attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Missouri and focused on Applied Kinesiology, with an additional 100 hours of acupuncture training, and graduated Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2014.
Dr. Crystal specializes in kinesiology, functional medicine integration and nutrition with her chiropractic roots, approaching each patient as a whole body. She treats patients with chronic disorders, gut and autoimmune diseases, food sensitivities, hormonal imbalance and methylation issues, and much more. She incorporates physical, chemical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of the human body in testing and protocols as a family practitioner, including pediatrics.
Hailing from Salina, KS, she moved to Franklin, TN in 2015 to start her practice. She and her husband Paul created Live Free Chiroplus together at the beginning of 2018, merging specialized techniques to offer patients their unique, whole-body, well-rounded approach to health. She is still an avid runner and passionate about health and wellness.

Paul’s passion for health developed while overcoming his own physical and health problems. At the age of 17, a football injury left him temporarily paralyzed. At 21, doctors recommended fusion surgeries for his neck and lower back. At age 24, he developed neurological symptoms from head trauma and concussions. Through chiropractic care and strategic exercise regimes, he overcame these physical setbacks, even ending pain medications and avoiding any surgeries. His passion and dedicated practice of proper bio-mechanical movements has given him a pain free life and an active lifestyle, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Paul attended the University of Central Florida and studied Sports and Fitness, specializing in physical human performance. He began his career as an Exercise Physiologist at the Center of Recovery and Exercise in Florida as an intern, working up through the ranks to Operations Manager. He worked with patients and developed specialized training programs for spinal cord injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injury, CP, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological conditions. Additionally, he gained experience with endurance athletes and NFL players with post-injury gait patterns.
He moved to Franklin, TN in 2015 to work in a chiropractic office as a movement specialist. In 2018, he joined forces with his wife, Dr. Crystal, to open Live Free Chiroplus. They merged techniques to offer patients a holistic and well-rounded treatment plan to meet their goals. Today, he continues his pursuit to optimize human movement, specializing in post-injury exercise, functional alignment and posture, improving athletic performance, long-term stable neurological issues, and patients with muscular pain.
