DTN time is the amount of time between an ischemic stroke patient's arrival at the hospital (ādoorā) and when they receive a clot-busting medication (āneedleā) to help restore blood flow to the brain. The faster the medicine is given, the more brain cells can potentially be saved, helping to reduce the risk of long-term disability or stroke.
