Well Heart Psychotherapy

Well Heart Psychotherapy Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Imagine someone listening without judging or giving unsolicited advice. I provide help to all ages and circumstances.

Imagine having a place to go where no one asks something of you, where you can let go of stress, anxiousness, or loneliness. Family, friends and society may not understand, or may be unable to carry our burdens. Mental health therapy is intended to enter our lives when support is needed. I believe that everyone is capable of healing; capable of change; capable of living life thoughtfully, mindfull

y, and truthfully. By establishing a trusting, open relationship we work together to find this. We will explore your experience in an effort to ease it, as well as to understand the meaning behind it all. I approach our work with compassion, nonjudgement, and encourage the process of understanding, acceptance and gentleness within oneself. In the space of a safe and nurturing relationship you will gain insight, process current emotions and past experiences, and learn new coping skills.

I was asked the other day what I do to reset between sessions. The answers: read, journal, take a quick walk, or listen to some good tunes. Even if it is only a 3-10 minute break, having my mind go to a completely new place is what helps me recenter for my next client.

Giving back to and supporting the community that supports me is very near and dear to my heart. It was a lovely night at the Johnson County Public Library (Franklin) providing insight and psychoeducation for why we relate to others as we do, and how this impacts our relationships.

Well Heart Psychotherapy loves you, Franklin! Volunteering our time and knowledge is a passion; please let me know if you are ever in need of a speaker.
