Good morning, Following the closure of the Maternity center, significant changes have been implemented regarding women's health services at JMH. Due to substantial staff transitions, with most office personnel securing positions elsewhere, we face considerable staffing shortages despite utilizing temporary staff. Consequently, our daily patient capacity has been severely impacted, necessitating the cancellation of numerous upcoming appointments for safety reasons. Please be assured that patient care and accessibility are our top priorities, and these measures were undertaken solely out of necessity. When contacted by our office staff, kindly understand that they will provide updates on potential rescheduling and timelines to the best of their abilities, although some details remain pending.

Call now to connect with business.

As many of you know, there have been big changes to women’s health services at Johnson Memorial health.

At this time, we don’t have many answers for you about how things will look going forward. But we will always share what we know.

Please be patient with our office staff. It’s not that we don’t want to answer your questions, it’s that we don’t have the information.

For now, the Maternity center will be open until June 6, 2026. That date might accelerate as patients change to different practices, and Maternity staff find new positions for employment.

For now, all of our providers will still continue to give excellent care for at least the next six months.

It has been, and continues to be an honor and a privilege to serve you. Thank you for your trust.

AAP President Dr. Susan J. Kressly responds to the recent changes on the CDC’s website - “The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website has been changed to promote false information suggesting vaccines cause autism. Since 1998, independent researchers across seven countries have conducted more than 40 high-quality studies involving over 5.6 million people. The conclusion is clear and unambiguous: There’s no link between vaccines and autism. Anyone repeating this harmful myth is misinformed or intentionally trying to mislead parents.

We call on the CDC to stop wasting government resources to amplify false claims that sow doubt in one of the best tools we have to keep children healthy and thriving: routine immunizations. The American Academy of Pediatrics stands with members of the autism community who have asked for support in stopping this rumor from spreading any further."
