Thank you to the Balsam Mountain Inn for hosting our annual Christmas party. We enjoyed dinner, games and prizes, always charades 😂, and a chance to laugh and kick off the holidays with some of our favorite people! December 1st marked the one year anniversary of Medicaid expansion being approved in our state! 🎉 In the past year over 569,000 North Carolinians enrolled in a Medicaid plan enabling access to vital medical and mental health services. The graphic below shows Macon County's enrollment at over 1800 in this timeframe. Way to go to all those who worked tirelessly for years to achieve this milestone!!! 😀
