Q & A with Dr. A - Episode 2!

What do you usually say to patients in the first few minutes to help them relax?

01/26/2026

Tight hips don’t just stay in your hips, they can overload your low back.

In this video, our Movement & Mobility Director, Luke, demonstrates a simple 5–10 minute daily hip mobility routine to restore hip function, improve movement, and reduce stress on the lower back.

Consistency is key. A few minutes a day can go a long way toward moving better and protecting your spine!

If you’re experiencing symptoms that don’t improve or are getting worse, it may be time for a specialist evaluation. Common reasons to see a neurosurgeon include:

• Persistent neck or back pain
• Numbness, tingling, or weakness in the arms or legs
• Pain that radiates down an arm or leg
• Difficulty walking or problems with balance
• Severe or sudden headaches
• Symptoms that interfere with daily life

Early evaluation can lead to more treatment options—and sometimes surgery isn’t needed at all. At our practice, we focus on listening, educating, and guiding you toward the best next step with Dr. Arvind Ahuja and our team.

Our Story

Neurosurgery & Endovascular Associates, led by American Board of Neurological Surgery certified neurosurgeon Dr. Arvind Ahuja, M.D., is a neurosurgical practice dedicated to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art care for patients with conditions of the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Our philosophy is one of inclusion. Patients, families and referring providers are informed of all aspects of care. Starting with needed diagnostics and continuing through recommended treatment to sustained follow-up, all stakeholders are kept up to date. We know that neurosurgical conditions can be frightening and confusing. Our goal is to simplify and educate while providing the most advanced treatment options possible. Non-surgical and surgical/interventional possibilities are presented and the patient’s wishes are taken into account as the treatment plan is developed. Dr. Ahuja treats the entire spectrum of neurosurgical conditions, from low back pain to stroke, brain tumors and cerebral aneurysms. Visit the Conditions Treated page to find out more.
