🌟Abby Van Eman is pursuing licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor and Mental
Health Service Provider and holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She
is currently practicing under the supervision of Allison Battles, LPC-MHSP-S at TTS!
🌟Abby has a professional background in special education, which informs her neurodiversity-affirming approach to therapy and her work with families. She is committed to supporting individuals and couples in understanding themselves and strengthening their relationships.
🌟Abby specializes in working with neurodivergent adults and couples, particularly around ADHD, autism, and executive functioning differences, and how these impact communication, emotional connection, and relational patterns. She also works with couples on the brink of separation, offering discernment counseling to help partners gain clarity and make intentional decisions about the future of their relationship. In addition, Abby enjoys parent coaching, supporting caregivers in understanding their child’s needs and building practical, sustainable
systems.
🌟Abby practices from an attachment-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens and takes an active, engaged approach to therapy. She doesn’t simply nod along — she offers thoughtful reflection, gentle challenge, and practical guidance to help clients notice patterns, make meaning of their experiences, and move toward meaningful change.
🌟Outside of therapy, Abby enjoys spending time with her dog, Ivy, exploring new restaurants, cooking and baking, hiking, and traveling, all of which reflect her curiosity about people, culture, and connection.
