He is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain lifelong oral health through advanced periodontal and implant care. With specialized training in the connection between oral and systemic health, he is dedicated to delivering patient-centered care rooted in trust, collaboration, and education.

A Northern California native, Dr. Lucena is also an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending time on the water and hiking the Sierra Nevada mountains.

The past few days, we welcomed our newest associates to Chicago for our Clinical Development New Specialist Summit; a unique program designed to support their transition into practice and help them thrive in their careers.

Through clinical training, operational insights, and networking opportunities, this experience (developed in collaboration with our Excellence in Partnership Integration Committee (EPIC) Clinical Advisory Board) gave our new specialists the chance to sharpen their skills, connect with peers across endo, perio, and oral surgery, and start building their community within Specialized Dental Partners.
