Curious about Yoga Nidra?

The practice of Yoga Nidra is deeply calming, grounding, and a great way to relax the nervous system.

Some of you may have heard the term Non-Sleep Deep Rest, or NSDR, which is an umbrella term for this practice of deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra is fully guided - calming the mind & relaxing the body for a deep and gentle reset.

Maria is back with her Psoas Relief workshop, and if you’ve ever taken it before, we can’t recommend it enough. The Psoas is often called the “emotional muscle” because it stores so much of our stress and tension. Releasing it can ease the hips, the low back, deepen your breath, and leave you feeling lighter overall.

Maria will intelligently guide you through a series of poses and stretches will help offer you relief in both body and mind. There’s a reason she offers this more than once a year… we all tend to need it! (And space usually fills up quickly!)

It speaks so beautifully to the practice of Svādhyāya — self-study. Yoga invites us to turn inward, to notice how the state of our inner world reflects into the outer one

Our thoughts, our patterns, our conditioning .. all of these shape the way we see and move through life

When we pause to breathe, to connect, to slow down, we create space to see everything more clearly

We’re so excited for you to get to know Sarah Lake.
You may have already met Sarah as she’s subbed classes at New Moon - but now she’s leading our new Rise & Flow every Monday and Wednesday at 7am. ☀️

We’ve asked Sarah some questions so you can get to know her better.

Q. How would you describe your teaching style in 3 words?
A. Grounding, Balanced, and Fluid.

Q. What do you hope students take away from your class?
A. I hope students leave my class feeling relaxed, stretched, and balanced in both mind and body!

Q. Complete this sentence- “Yoga has taught me…”
A. Everything!!

Q. What do you love to do outside of yoga?
A. Music. I’m an indie country artist and a songwriter! You can find me playing live around town and songwriting when I’m not doing yoga!
