I had to!! HAPPY NEW YEAR, Everyone! I am loving 2025 recap posts, and vision boards for 2026. I’ve been traveling a bunch and figured I’d start the new year with a silly vid. Holidays are really interesting because they’re jam packed with so much love and activity, whilst also causing stress or sadness for those who are going through things or have lost someone. Though holidays are special, every day is a gift and looking at life in this way helps lessen ups and downs as a result, from my experience living away from home and or family for so many years. I’ve learned to love experiences and time together and nature so much. ANYWAY, will get off my soapbox but want you each to know you’re loved and let’s do the damn thang this year!!!! #2026

An everything but the protein run to Whole Foods | Come GroceryShop With Me!
Sunday grocery run = everything but the
protein edition, focusing on what’s in season.
Still stocked from my Costco haul, so this was an organic produce + weekly staples situation.
Lettuce, kale, scallions, lemons, oranges, apples, Good Culture cottage cheese + yogurt, pasture-raised organic eggs, Dave’s thin-sliced bread, and sliced meat for easy lunches. I’m shifting back to cold meals and salads this week after living in warm food for a while.
Whole Foods was picked over this morning, !! was hoping for persimmons and pomegranate seeds for that sweet bite in a salad. Still found plenty, and grabbed a lemon + blueberry goat cheese for salads.
Nutrition notes (fact-checked):
- Organic + in-season = lower pesticide residue
and often better nutrient retention
- Some pesticides are known endocrine disruptors, and long-term exposure has been linked to hormone and gut disruption
- Pasture-raised chickens have real outdoor access, eat a more natural diet, and their eggs typically contain more omega-3s, vitamin A,and vitamin E
Whole Foods Market is my go-to because with Prime I actually save. I stopped at Sprouts recently and my bill was noticeably higher for the same kind of items, has anyone else has noticed that shift??

how stinking fabulous is this new reformer pilates studio in downtown columbia, tennessee?! did I mention a literal Hallmark movie was filmed in this town? Love a fitness discovery esp when it’s a vibe! last night was grand opening, and classes can already be booked online on their website. Local woman-owned business, and they’re planning really cool various events like Wednesday night candle lit pilates for “faith focused movement”. Definitely check it out, the best way to approach classes is to start with friends imo!
