Mineral balancing ensures that you have adequate amounts of essential nutrient minerals and that the relationships to one another (ratios) are correct. Copper dysregulation and iron toxicity is at the heart of mineral balancing. Individuals with thyroid issues suffer with copper imbalance. The copper binding protein ceruloplasmin (CP) is made in your liver and stores and carries the mineral copper around your body. Ceruloplasmin (CP) carries 65% to 90% of the copper found in blood. Copper is vital to many processes in your body. When iron is stored in the liver, copper is not bioavailable for the body to use.
Mineral balancing helps to raise CP, so copper can be properly utilized to prevent iron from being stored in the liver, brain and thyroid and other organ and tissues.Mineral balancing is at the cellular level and this stored iron contributes to inflammation. Adrenals and the liver must be functioning properly (not storing iron) to make CP and is dependent on animal-based retinol, along with whole food vitamin C. Supplemental iron, calcium, vitamin D, high fructose corn syrup, ascorbic acid (GMO corn) and stress contribute to this copper dysregulation and iron toxicity.
Pathogens feed on iron, and mineral balancing is specific to raising ceruloplasmin to make copper bioavailable to correct iron overload. It is critical that the co-factors are in place to get these nutrients into the cell. CP and ridding the body of toxic iron stored in the tissues and organs is key to making copper bio-available. Adequate CP is needed for neurotransmitter health, keeping yeast, parasites and other nasties under control, and is very important in ATP regulation (energy production). Mineral balancing is at the cellular level and this stored iron contributes to inflammation.
HTMA (hair analysis) and Genetic Testing gives us information of what nutrients the body needs to heal itself, regardless of the symptoms you have. If you’re looking for ways to change your genetic expression, minerals have to be addressed and balanced. Genetic testing can assist in understanding your personal health needs.
