Organic Elderberry Syrup - new to the apothecary shop! ✨ Elderberry syrup is the first herbal remedy I ever made as a young mom 15 years ago. I was shocked as I watched our symptoms disappear in a matter of days, my doctor couldn’t believe it either and wanted the recipe. From that point on I was hooked on herbs! 🌿

This Elderberry Syrup Kit is a home apothecary staple. It's always my first line of defense because of its immune boosting and anti-viral ingredients that have been clinically shown to reduce the duration and severity of sickness.

My Great Aunt Ethel will forever be remembered for these Ginger Cookies. ❤️ We make them at least a couple times a year but I really love them at Christmas to give as gifts.

Ginger Cookies
1/2 cup oil
2/3-1 cup sugar
1/4 molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves, ground
1 tsp ginger, ground
*I added 1 tsp vanilla extract

Cream oil and sugar together. Add molasses and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll dough into small balls and roll in sugar. Place 2” apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 6 minutes. Yield: 2 dozen. Enjoy!

Comment “cornbread” for my go to cornbread recipe!

This recipe is adapted from a Tasha Tudor cookbook (it’s actually her grandmother’s recipe) but made with a twist. I sub honey for sugar and add sourdough discard.

I think you’ll love it! It’s the perfect thing to serve with chili or eat alone with a pat of butter on top. 😋
