Our Story
Franklin Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine is proud to be serving the people of Franklin and the greater Nashville area. Our mission is to provide highly personalized care focused on the body, mind, and spirit of each patient. We are dedicated to providing a medium for people to experience health naturally, without needing to use harsh pharmaceutical drugs. At Franklin Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine, licensed acupuncturist Scott Nugent has made it his mission to show people the life altering power of acupuncture & Chinese herbal medicine.
Scott’s life experiences have included a number of personal health issues. He has dealt with orthopedic issues from athletics, autoimmune issues, and viral induced organ damage. He found that the conventional western biomedical path was not serving his needs in these situations and sought other medical assistance. He found Chinese medicine, where acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine was the ticket to turn grave his grave situations into positive ones. These experiences inspired him to pursue Chinese Medicine as a career and life-long endeavor.
