Natchez Trace Trail Run -Thank You!

First and foremost, thank you to our volunteers—every single one of you. From the crews who helped push back the Natchez to keep these trails open, to the race-day teams who greeted runners, kept aid stations humming, and nailed the timing—you made this day possible. It takes an army to run these races, and we depend on volunteers. Runners: if you have the chance, please volunteer for your small local races.

To every rucker, and runner across all distances—thank you. It was a perfect day, and everyone got home safe. I loved hearing “this was my first race” at the finish—what an honor to share that milestone with you. And to those who come back year after year, you’re the heartbeat of this event. Thank you for keeping the tradition alive.

Natchez Trace Trail Run

To all the runners who joined us yesterday for the Natchez Trace Trail Run, thank you! Your determination made this event. Whether you tackled the 50-miler, marathon, halfish marathon, or rucking division, we’re proud of every one of you. We hope you had an amazing experience on the trails, and we’re excited to announce that your results are now available online!

Volunteers.
Each year, maintaining these trails requires a dedicated team. Thankfully, we’re fortunate to have an incredible community of volunteers who generously donate their time to weed-eat, blow, flag, and trim the trail you enjoyed yesterday.

Beyond trail maintenance, there are many others who support in countless ways: providing medical assistance, staffing aid stations, offering transportation when runners need it, managing timing, and collecting over 2,000 course markers. These events simply wouldn’t happen without such dedicated individuals. If you have the chance, please thank our volunteers, and consider helping at at a local trail race. I promise they could use it.

HARDWIN VACATIONS

Patagonia Adventure

We have two spots left on our Patagonia Hut to Hut Mountain Traverse.: This is an epic exhilarating 8-day trail running experience in Patagonia, offering breathtaking landscapes and challenging terrains. Let us know if you're interested.

The Maine Event

This trip is pretty hardcore but offers a lot in terms of life experience. Think you're ready to tackle some of toughest terrain I know?

Future Vacations

We are working on a summer trip out West to Tahoe and Yosemite!! I should have details up in December. Then we are working on a trip to Iceland. Will have details up in Jan probably.

Our next two races are:

Fiery Gizzard Run
Date: November 30, 2024
Location: 75 Fiery Gizzard Rd, Tracy City, TN
Details: Half and full marathon distances on one of the top 25 trails in the U.S., featuring waterfalls, rock formations, and stunning overlooks.

Black Toe Run
Date: 2/1/25
Location: Hardin Farm, Watertown, TN
Details: A 12-, 24-, or 48-hour endurance challenge on a 5-mile loop with approximately 1,250 feet of vertical gain per loop. Participate solo or in teams of 2 or 4. This race is probably our largest and is pretty much a huge two day party with bon fires, tons of food, cold weather, rows upon rows of campsites, rain, mud, tears, and good cheer.

Last we offer free speed training each Tuesday at 5:30am Rose Track. We call ourselves the Tardigrades Track Club. We're pretty badass. Anyways if you're new to speed training come out. We have people at all speeds and all ages so don't be scared. If you wanna join our mailing list just let me know and I will put you on it. Like I said it is completely free and very rewarding.

Major Announcement!
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new website! While there's still some work to be done on the product section, everything should be completed by next week. We launched a bit early to introduce an exciting new branch of HardWin that I am particularly enthusiastic about: HardWin Vacations!

I am passionate about adventure and eager to share some of the magical places I've visited with friends. Our first trip is called the "Maine Event." As the name suggests, it's in Maine, and it's an incredible vacation offered at a great price. This trip is challenging but extremely rewarding. Speed isn't necessary; all you need is endurance. Check it out and let me know what you think. Although we're cutting it close with the trip starting in August, we can gauge interest and, if it works out this year, fantastic! Don't hesitate to inquire. Maine is my favorite place to run, and I'd love to show it to you.

Our next adventure takes place in Bariloche, Patagonia! This epic hut-to-hut mountain traverse includes all meals and features four guides, one of whom is a professional photographer to document your journey. We provide wonderful accommodations and take full care of all our runners' needs.

Beyond these two trips, we have several more planned for next year, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out the Maine Event—we'd love to have our local friends join us on this adventure.
