Our power came on last night around 7:30pm.

All of this has me reflecting on what it means to be prepared.

Preparing for emergencies, ice storms. food shortages, power outages, etc.

We had enough warning to be prepared for this storm. We weren't caught off guard.

Four days ago our neighbors told us, if you lose power just come on over because we have a propane fireplace in the basement and a propane generator for the RV.

If this wasn't an option, we would have made other plans and still been prepared to make it through as smooth as possible.

👉🏼I can't help, but compare this same type of mindset to our health and well-being.

Receiving the health insights we gain from thermography and other health scans gives us the "warning" we need to prepare.

So we aren't caught off guard with a health "storm" later on.

I aspire to be a person that is fully accountable, responsible, and prepared as much as I am capable of being.

Thermography 101…. Do you remember when Time Magazine had a cover that said “Inflammation is the Silent Killer.”

The body whispers before it speaks. And speaks before it yells.

Now you can literally see on thermography images early stage inflammation, that would be considered “silent.”

Or perhaps you already feel like something is off. Thermography can validate what you may already suspect is not going well with your health.

Digging a well when you’re already thirsty…. Is what it’s like trying to heal anything “late stage.”

It’s possible! And plenty of people do, but if you’re prevention minded, then you will love the information you receive from your thermography appointments 🙏

Yesterday a young man in his mid-20's drove all the way from Chattanooga for a health scan.

He told me a bit about his health story.

When he was 17 he started to have symptoms of severe anxiety, depression, and brain fog.

He almost didn't graduate high school because of these health challenges.

His parents couldn't afford to spend any money on his health, so he had to settle for medications that insurance covered.

He went on to college studying to become a software engineer, all the while knowing these medications were only masking his symptoms.

He told himself that when he got a job and was able to make his own money, he would finally invest in his own health and healing.

And that's what he did.

Since becoming a software engineer, he spends all of his free time learning about detoxing, signing up for programs from health experts, listening to wellness podcasts, investing in tests, scans, therapies, and health products.

He said he has one more medication to wean off of, but that his health has improved so much in a short period of time.

I was inspired by his commitment to get better. He didn't give up!

I hope this story inspires you today.

Health and healing is a long game, but so worth it!
