why should you practice yoga nidra?

when the world around us feels like a lot, it can be hard to pull our attention inward. we are asked to witness so much all of the time, it can feel impossible or trivial to sit in stillness and witness ourselves. yoga nidra stops that cycle.

The Smoky Mountain Yoga and Wellness Festival, founded by , is taking place this June to celebrate the International Day of Yoga and you can celebrate with us. Tickets are LIVE (link in bio).

it’s the feeling that is coming over me as spring rolls through the mountains. it’s a feeling i want to share with you.

sound bath is more than a mediation. immersive frequencies from singing bowls at 432 Hz support downregulation and guide the body out of stress and into repair. withdrawing from the senses into a single-point focus - that’s dharana, the sixth limb of yoga.

combined with restorative yoga in a community space, this meditative experience is… peace.

yoga nidra (sometimes called yogic sleep) is a guided meditative practice designed to bring your body into deep rest while your mind stays gently aware. you’ll get cozy (blankets encouraged), lie down, and be led through breath, body awareness, and simple visualization. no effort- just space to settle.

the new moon is a natural pause point. a chance to slow down, reset your nervous system, and step into the next month feeling clear and steady.
