These tiny scarecrows are ready for their first fall harvest! 🍁 🌻

Williamson Health’s newest fall guardians are dressed in hand-crocheted outfits lovingly crafted by Debi Reynolds from Williamson Health’s EMS team. They are ready to protect the orchards and fields brimming with apples, pumpkins, corn and all the fresh produce that inspires delicious fall dishes. These newborns are truly the cream of the crop, spreading seasonal cheer to all! Gather ‘round and fall into an abundance of festive photos captured by Kristie Lloyd Photography.

Help us celebrate our latest 𝐁𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 winner: 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐧 with the 3rd floor in the Boyer-Bryan West Tower! 🐝

Her nomination read in part: “A patient told Laney about her two-year-old great granddaughter who is currently receiving treatment for leukemia. At the end of her shift, Laney went to the Gift Shop and purchased a stuffed animal and returned to the patient’s room for her to take the toy to the great granddaughter. The stuffed animal had a tag on it with the great granddaughter’s name. The patient was so touched by the kindness Laney showed and wanted Laney to be recognized. Laney said she didn’t do this for the recognition, instead it was because “No two-year-old deserves to be going through cancer.”

Congratulations Laney, and thank you for your kindness and dedication! It goes further than you can imagine ❤️

When 10-year-old Jaycey Ross arrived at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital Vanderbilt at Williamson Medical Center, her care team quickly recognized a dangerous antibiotic-resistant infection — and saved her life.

Help us in congratulating one of our latest DAISY Foundation Award winners: 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 with our team on the 6th floor of the Boyer-Bryan West Tower! 🌼

A sample of her nomination read: "My father has Alzheimer’s, multiple organ failure, mobility issues and is preparing for hospice. He gets totally confused at night and can become combative and verbally abusive. Melissa was really great keeping him oriented, being patient and calm with him, and finding ways to make him laugh. She stayed close by the room until he was settled and ready for sleep. Yesterday he was once again upset all day. Then after two minutes with Melissa on shift last night, he was calmed, laughing and had glimpses of his typical calm self. Those moments are so important as we near the end of his life in a place that is stressful to him because it is unfamiliar. We are so appreciative of the nights he was able to have Melissa as part of his care team.”
