We're excited to announce we've received not one, but TWO awards from the American Heart Association as part of its Get With The Guidelines® program! 🫀

This national initiative encourages hospitals to consistently apply the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatment guidelines for patients with heart disease and stroke, and our expert cardiologists here at Williamson Health work in a state-of-the-art Primary Heart Attack Center to rapidly assess, diagnose and treat patients experiencing heart attacks.

Effective today, the Williamson Health Medical Group Walk-In Clinic in Spring Hill at the corner of Port Royal Rd. and Duplex Rd. has new operating hours. Providing immediate care for a wide range of common non-orthopaedic health conditions, illnesses and minor injuries such as colds, flu, infections, rashes, allergies, minor cuts and more, the clinic offers convenient healthcare services close to home and without the need for an appointment.

At long last, it's 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘 in Williamson County!

Fall sports have started, football kicks off tonight, and we can't help but say 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐘𝐨𝐮 to everyone that comprises our sports medicine teams at numerous different schools in the area.

Along with Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, we're proud to be tasked with keeping student-athletes safe and healthy on and off the field, and we can't wait for another great year of athletics in 2025-26! 🏈⚽️🏀🏐🥎

Help us celebrate our latest 𝐁𝐄𝐄 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 winner: 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐞𝐝 with our cardiopulmonary team! 🐝

Her nomination read in part: “Sometimes, after a couple of days in a hospital room, the most welcome knock on your door is one that can bring witty, light-hearted conversation. This is what Katie brought to my room recently. It started with a semi-serious question. We then joked back and forth when the conversation turned to my growing sleep deficit. I told Katie about my “evil plan” to conspire a way to get some uninterrupted sleep. She promised she would support that. About that time, we had both a blood draw cart and an RN vitals cart come through while Katie was working on me. We saw the humor as we dueled over who got to put the ox-sat finger cuff on first. Katie said my sleep protest didn’t look too promising. I assured her I was just trying to “wear them all out,” so I could get some peaceful rest. All of this story is just plain great patient care and Katie took the time to leave the room lighter and happier than when she walked in.”

It's 𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊! 🏈

As we get set for Week 1 this Friday night across Williamson County, we take a moment to recognize the hard-working certified athletic trainers that work year-round to care for the 7,500-plus student-athletes at all nine public Williamson County schools and a handful of private institutions competing in athletics.

These athletic trainers are provided to Williamson County Schools with Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee at no cost to the school or participating families. Day in and day out, they guide student-athletes through injury prevention, examination and diagnosis of an injury, treatment programs, rehabilitation, and so much more. Help us say a big 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to our athletic trainers - we wish each of our teams a health and winning 2025 season!

After the Williamson County Fair these last two weekends, what are we supposed to do this weekend?!

A few 📸 from the last few weeks celebrating 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 and sponsoring the Williamson County Fair, and boy did we have a blast! 🎢 🌭 🎠 🎡

Another successful Willco Fair has come and gone, and we thank the folks with the fair for letting us host our annual employee appreciation event on the final day of this year’s festivities. Until next year!
