Open to all denominations, the employees of this 84 bed facility are committed to the total care of our residents, not just their physical wellbeing, but their emotional and spiritual needs as well. We fully believe in the healing power of modern medicine, but we also believe in the therapeutic value of a gentle touch, a kind word and a prayer. At Good Samaritan Living Center we provide professional healthcare in a warm, loving and clean environment. Good Samaritan is located in beautiful Franklinton, Louisiana, a small town of just under 4,000 people. A peaceful town with a slow pace, mild climate and ultra low crime rate, Franklinton is the host of the famous Washington Parish Free Fair, one of the largest and longest running county fairs in the United States. We are close enough to the Gulf to enjoy beautiful subtropical weather, but far enough inland to be safe from almost anything the Gulf throws our way.
