Tonight we start our 3-part dive into Whosoever Step 4: Light Reveals Reality.

If you’re familiar with other recovery programs, you know Step 4 can feel heavy.

It’s where we begin to name the darkness we’ve tried to keep hidden… the fears, the resentments, the patterns we don’t always want to face.

But we’re not approaching this step the way you might expect.

This isn’t about reliving your past.
It’s about bringing it into the Light of Grace… so it no longer has a hold on you.

Because when Jesus reveals truth, He doesn’t do it to condemn us.
He does it so we can actually heal.

So we don’t just move past it…
we’re made free from it.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in cycles you can’t quite explain, or weighed down by things you thought you had already dealt with… this is for you.

Tonight we will conclude Whosoever Step 3-Jesus is the Light

We have another familiar passage, the 2 thieves next to Jesus. (Luke 23:39-43)
2 men right next to Jesus, 2 similar pasts, 2 identical consequences, yet 2 very different responses.

The question for us in this passage -
Am I asking Jesus to fix my situation, or am I allowing Him to change my heart?

Whosoever Step 3-Jesus is the Light

The Last Supper is a pretty well known passage. But we will be digging a little deeper.

We all know that Judas was in close proximity to the Light, but still chose darkness. We are faced with that same choice time and time again throughout our lives.

And sometimes, we even choose darkness. But we don't have to stay in darknes. Because even what the enemy intends for evil God can and will use for good!

I'm excited to see y'all tonight. We will have homemade chili, hotdogs and Fritos.

Tonight we’re starting Whosoever Step 3: Jesus is the Light.

So many of the things that keep us stuck grow in the dark. Shame, guilt, secrets, and fear. We try to hide them, bury them, or pretend they are not there. But what stays hidden keeps its power over us.

Healing begins when those places are brought into the Light.

Jesus is not pointing us toward the light from a distance. He is the Light who steps into our darkness. When His truth shines on the things we have carried quietly for years, shame begins to lose its grip and freedom starts to take root.

You do not have to have everything figured out to come tonight. Just come willing to step into the Light.

Whosoever Step 2 is where we begin to respond to His grace, by acknowledging the truth. Our world is dark—and we cannot fix ourselves.
This is where real hope begins.
