It's been an exciting couple of weeks in the Delsea Athletic Department. Our student-athletes, as always, have risen to the occasion. This month's winners personify strength, dedication, determination, and all-around toughness.

Delsea Athlete, Hannah Nuhfer, ended an incredible high school indoor track career, placing first in the shot put in the 2026 NJSIAA Meet of Champions, 2nd at the New Balance Indoor Nationals, and 4th at the Nike Indoor Nationals.

Greyson Pettit, a member of the Delsea Boys Wrestling Team, was the 2026 District 30 champion at 132 pounds. He then went on to win the Region 8 Championships. He entered the NJSIAA State Championship Tournament in Atlantic City, seeded 21st. He knocked off a defending state champion in the semifinals on his way to becoming a state champion.

Another Fall Season is in the books. Kiera Raftery (Field Hockey) and Riley Sheel (Boys Soccer) are our winners for this month. Both are physically and mentally tough in competition. More importantly, they're the epitome of what a Delsea Athlete is: a leader, a motivator, and a great teammate. Congratulations to you both!
