What is neuro - reflexology? It is based on supporting the nerves in the body with reflexology techniques applied to the face/feet & hands. The techniques I learned from the Lone Sorensen method.
💧I couple this with applied aromatherapy ...why??? Because all therapeutic essential oils is 'alive' due to the hundreds of molecules in each bottle which provides the 'therapeutic frequency'.
🧠Neuro-reflexology is an electrical stimulation to reflex points on the skin utilizing the fingers and thumbs, which produces voltages throughout the body. This , in turn, induces currents that increase the frequency along the nerve pathways.
💧The molecules of essential oils are also electrical in nature and move along nerve pathways.
Sickness is often the result of blocked nerve pathways.
Reflexology helps move the healing molecules of essential oils along these pathways. When a gap or malfunction is encountered along the way, the oils and voltages jump-start faulty electrical circuitry, helping to restore proper function.

🙌HAND REFLEXOLOGY and the HEART❤
Venous Amoris (vein of love) or more aptly named Nervus Amoris(nerve of love ) is the nerve connection between the left ring finger and the heart There is a certain nerve that originates in the heart, runs from there to the ring finger on the left hand, and ends intertwined with the rest of the nerves of that finger.
Hand Reflexology can support the heart while increasing blood and nerve circulation to the entire hand.

🌿 The Vagus Nerve

Why It’s Become Table Conversation — and Why Your Body Depends on It

Over the past few years, the vagus nerve has quietly moved from medical textbooks to dinner tables, podcasts, therapy rooms, and healing conversations around the world. And for good reason.

This single nerve plays a profound role in how safe, calm, inflamed, fatigued, or resilient your body feels — yet most people were never taught about it.

Let’s unpack what it is, why it matters, and how you can gently support it in daily life 💚

🧠 What Is the Vagus Nerve?

The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body.
It originates in the brainstem and travels down through the neck, chest, and abdomen, connecting directly to:

• Heart
• Lungs
• Diaphragm
• Stomach & intestines
• Liver & pancreas
• Immune and lymphatic systems

It is the primary nerve of the parasympathetic nervous system — the part of the body responsible for:

✨ Rest
✨ Repair
✨ Digestion
✨ Immune regulation
✨ Inflammation control

In simple terms:
The vagus nerve tells the body when it is safe to heal.

🔄 Why Is the Vagus Nerve Suddenly Everywhere?

Modern life keeps many bodies stuck in a constant state of stress response:

🚨 Fight
🚨 Flight
🚨 Freeze

When the nervous system remains here for too long, the body struggles to:
• Switch off stress
• Calm inflammation
• Digest efficiently
• Sleep deeply
• Regulate hormones
• Drain lymph and metabolic waste

The vagus nerve is the key switch that helps the body move out of survival mode and back into healing mode.

That’s why it has become such an important topic in conversations around:
• Chronic inflammation
• Autoimmune conditions
• Fatigue & burnout
• Digestive issues
• Anxiety & nervous system overload
• Lymphatic congestion

🌊 The Missing Link: Vagus Nerve & Lymph Flow

This connection is often overlooked — yet it’s crucial.

The vagus nerve influences:
• Diaphragm movement (the main pump for lymph flow)
• Breathing depth
• Gut motility (a lymph-rich area)
• Thoracic pressure changes (essential for lymph drainage)

When vagal tone is low:
❌ Breathing becomes shallow
❌ Lymph movement slows
❌ Fluid retention and heaviness increase
❌ Inflammatory by-products linger longer

🌿 A calm nervous system = better lymph movement.
🌿 Better lymph movement = reduced inflammatory load.

📉 Signs the Vagus Nerve May Be Under Strain

Many people live with low vagal tone without realising it.

Common signs include:
• Neck, jaw or shoulder tension
• Shallow breathing or frequent sighing
• Digestive discomfort or bloating
• Poor sleep
• Feeling “wired but tired”
• Sensitivity to stress, noise or crowds
• Swelling or heaviness that worsens during stressful periods

These are not signs of failure — they are signals from the nervous system asking for support.

🌿 How to Support Your Vagus Nerve (Gently & Daily)

The vagus nerve responds best to consistency, safety, and gentleness — not force.

Simple daily support can include:

🫁 Slow nasal breathing with longer exhales
🎶 Humming, singing, chanting or gargling
🤲 Gentle neck, chest & diaphragm release
❄️ Cool water on the face or neck
🌊 Support lymph flow regularly
🛏️ Rest without guilt

✨ You don’t “fix” the nervous system.
✨ You support it — and the body responds.

💚 Why You Should Know About the Vagus Nerve

Because healing is not only about:
❌ Diet plans
❌ Supplements
❌ Exercise routines

It is also about:
✔️ Feeling safe in your body
✔️ Regulating stress responses
✔️ Supporting lymph & immune communication
✔️ Allowing the body to shift into repair

The vagus nerve doesn’t shout.
It whispers — and when you listen, the whole system softens.

🌿 Final Thought

Healing begins where safety is restored.
And safety begins in the nervous system.
