Sometimes we're just horsing around....

Our residents and associates were delighted to have the Frederick County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Program come back out with their horses. The horses were so gentle and sweet and did so well despite the heat! We can't wait to have them out again.

Last week, we celebrated our two queens, Melody and Daisy, for International Cat Day! 👑🐱 They bring the purr-fect mix of sass and sweetness with their soft paws and big personalities. Life wouldn’t be the same without their purrs, mischief, and endless cuddles. 💕🌍🐾

There’s live music during happy hours, music-based activities, and it just feels alive in a way that so many other places didn’t. The staff does a fantastic job encouraging the residents to participate in daily activities. My mom is almost never in her room during the day, and I rarely see residents just sitting around watching TV. There’s always something happening-exercise games in the morning, a cooking club, or visits with the facility dogs."

We love this blog post from Housewives of Frederick County, LLC! It's wonderful to see so many great things to do with with older adults around Frederick. We love taking our residents out to many of these locations as well.
